The starting point for the creation of this work is the interesting phenomena produced by the communication between different cultures that I observe in my daily life. Cultural misunderstanding often occurs in the process of mutual understanding of each other's culture after exchanges between people from different cultures. This kind of communication not only has the contemporary innovation of culture, but also has the deconstruction of the original cultural meaning after the present, and the mutual reconstruction and deconstruction between different cultures occur at the same time. In this work, I try to explore the absurdity and humour brought about by this phenomenon.

The Chinese of this sentence is “只因你太美丽”, the meaning of this sentence is the name of this artwork, and the original meaning of this sentence is to express praise. I used a typeface for the presentation, and I made a stencil of each typeface and pasted it on the wall, and invited the audience to participate in painting with red paint. When a white wall without any meaning is filled with red by people, the meaning of the text is gradually revealed. This typeface is often used on the streets for publicity. This form was especially common in China from the 1970s to the 1990s. In different periods, the government would produce different slogans for political propaganda according to different policies and situations. This kind of propaganda is often serious and has a grand narrative. I want to use this political font that every Chinese in the past was very familiar with to tell a gentle and sweet story.

At the same time, this sentence shows that cultural alienation has already occurred in the Chinese Internet environment. The phrase has become part of the meme culture for people on the internet for fun and entertainment.

Its once beautiful meaning became a sarcastic remark. Therefore, this sentence is understood as having different meanings in different cultures and even people of different ages. At the time of the exhibition, all audiences in a non-Chinese context will be happy and surprised after seeing the translated meaning of this sentence. But some Chinese

audiences who know its meaning will basically think it is a sarcastic and funny statement. I want to try to explore this phenomenon of cultural alienation that people from different backgrounds intentionally or unintentionally produce
